On this site you will find a number of late deals available to stay within a 17th century Jacobean mansion located within Orton Village which is a short drive away from a number of features in the Lake district such as Bowness, Ullswater, Coniston and notable mountains such as Helvellyn and Scafell Pike.

Orton Hall is accessed by large iron gates that proceed up a long, gravel drive to reveal the impressive hall and its surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquillity are deafening as you walk up to the steps to the front door and enter the magnificent oak panelled Hall, complete with Log Fire, Grand Piano and also a Snooker Table. This room with stone mullioned windows and carved oak fireplace provides a superb centre piece for the house.
